Sherri is a native Savannahian who loves her hometown. There have been many opportunities to live in other places but none compare to Savannah. To show her admiration for the community, Sherri looks for opportunities to give back. Sherri is a dedicated member of The Lions Club, Savannah Elks Lodge 183 where she is President of the Auxiliary and a member of the Savannah Tech Community Council. When Sherri commits she gives it her all. Sherri is married to Karl Schumacher and together they have one son Ryan. Sherri comes from a family with strong Savannah ties and dedication to the community. Sherri is dancing with Adam Lee another member of the Lions Club and together they dance to express their pride in being members of the organization.

The 200 Club


Erica grew up in California, Utah, Colorado, Georgia, and Massachusetts as a child of the Air Force. She received her B.A. in Abstract Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts and her M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Vermont. After moving to Savannah with her husband Robert, she taught computer science at Armstrong University before deciding to focus on her children at home along with her home publishing company, Facts & Formulas. As her children grew older she focused on her life-long love, art. She is now a full-time stained glass artist and is also devoted to ballroom dancing. She hopes to raise funds for the 200 Club, which provides immediate financial assistance to the surviving spouse and children of local law enforcement officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty. "Caring for those who care for us" is an honor and a privilege.

Karen Bartlett is a Registered Nurse Case Manager. She is the Director of Case Management Service with Wright Rehabilitation Services. Karen has been in the Workers' Comp industry for 20 years and has a multitude of experience and expertise to include telephonic, field and UR programs. She was the Program Manager for The State of Georgia’s Telephonic WC/MCO program where she oversaw the provision of medical care for the State’s employees. Karen began her volunteer career with Make-A-Wish and worked with them for 6 years. She has been a Kids' Chance volunteer for the last 12 years.

Lynda Figueredo currently serves as the WTOC Weekend Anchor and dayside reporter. She joined WTOC as a general assignment reporter in October 2009. Over the years, she worked on the News at Daybreak, hosted a segment called "Fit Club," which highlighted fitness and health related topics in the community, and worked as a night side reporter. When Lynda is not out reporting your stories, she is a certified group fitness instructor and a National Level Figure Competitor. You can catch Lynda teaching and coaching at various YMCA's, 24Seven Fitness, Anytime Fitness and Fleet Feet Sports throughout the week.

Dr. Bohnstengel is a family physician who has been in practice in Savannah for 19 years. Her private practice has 2 locations: Savannah and Jesup. She is an avid ballroom dancer and has been dancing for 18 years. She's danced in The Ballroom Extravaganza every year, all five years so far, and looking forward to her sixth. She chose Heads Up Guidance Services as her charity because of our mutual commitment to the underserved in Savannah and in particular the fact that this program is faith-based and emphasizes accountability.

Sandy grew up in a small town in Kentucky and graduated from nursing school in 1993 from Western Kentucky University. She works as a nurse educator - Clinical Science Consultant, for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. She and her husband, Sean have been in Richmond Hill for the last seven years. They have four children, a son who is 13, and daughters who are 11, 5, and 5. She is a novice at ballroom dancing, but has always loved the art of dance. Her children say doing "The Sprinkler or The Lawnmower" doesn't count as dancing. She is determined to prove to them, she can become a ballroom dancer. Her hobbies include: washing clothes, cleaning house, making symmetrical pony tails, and running her professional taxi service for their four children. Delivering twins at 40, made Sandy keenly aware of the potential risk for problems with newborns. For this reason, she is super excited to dance for Savannah AMBUCS. AMBUCS provides AMTRYKES, which are specially adapted 3 wheel bikes for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Downs Syndrome, Autism, and other neurological disorders.

Linda Redfern Socks is a native of Stamford, Connecticut. She has a B. A. Communication from the University of New Haven.

In her spare time between working and raising a family, Linda worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. She is the author of Healthy Fit & Fabulous (for the health conscious parent), a book to enlighten parents on the need to embrace realistic healthy lifestyle habits that work for the next generation. She is passionate about motivating female clients in strength training which can help ward off some diseases.

Linda, is now semi-retired but continues to work as an ACE certified personal trainer (American Council of Exercise) for TrainMe 24/7 and is the Group Fitness Coordinator for Anytime Fitness where she still teaches classes. She is a member of the IDEA Health & Fitness Association and previously taught fitness classes in Mexico at all-inclusive resorts.

Linda is married to her favorite guy, a retired Captain of the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services in MD. She has two children ages 38 & 32, and has three grandchildren 14, 12, & 9. She is thrilled and happy to dance for the Rape Crisis Center.

Dr. Neravetla is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. In addition to the standard breadth of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery, Dr. Neravetla is excited to bring minimally invasive techniques such Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement and robotic lung/chest surgery to Savannah. Besides being a closet "weekend warrior", Dr. Neravetla enjoys food, Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dance, and traveling in her spare time. As a passionate lifelong student, Dr. Neravetla believes in the importance of education. As such, she is honored to be dancing for Chatham Academy at the Royce Learning Center and support their mission to engender every student's inner quest for knowledge.

Floyd R. Blair, Esq. is the President & CEO, Lutheran Services of Georgia. He has extensive success in urban ministry, public education and social services. He is passionate and committed to improving the lives of the least amongst us which most often are the children. Blair, as he likes to be called was raised in foster care, in the public housing projects of Brooklyn, New York He has broken the cycle of poverty and holds a Juris Doctor and a graduate certificate in Health Law from the University of Maryland School of Law & School of Public Policy Program. He holds a certificate of advanced study in pastoral counseling from the Saint Francis Academy for Clinical Pastoral Training {Hartford, Ct.). He is continuing a Ph.D., in non-profit management & leadership. He is happily married and is the proud father of five children and lives in the Greater Atlanta area.

She has been co-voted "Best Personal Trainer" in 2012 and 2013 by Savannah Magazine readers, along with her husband Drew. As an extension of her passion for helping others reach their personal fitness goals, Shazi is a top rated cheerleading coach. A former 4 year Georgia Southern cheerleading captain and 3 time All American cheerleader, she has built a reputation for offering elite services in the industry through her second business DanceCheerMove (www.dancecheermove.com).

Dr. Allan Taaca is an Emergency Room physician at Memorial University Medical Center. He was born and raised in Chicago, IL and did his residency in Emergency Medicine at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Taaca relocated to Bluffton, SC for the awesome weather, the people, and for family. He has a four year old son named Jackson who loves the performances at Savannah Children's Theatre. Dr. Taaca will be dancing with Jenn Doubleday, Associate Director and Choreographer at Savannah Children's Theatre. He is dancing for Savannah Children's Theatre as a supporter of the arts and as the parent of a future participant!
